Stewardship & Accountability
STEWARDSHIP & ACCOUNTABILITY – The Management of another person property, finances, or household affairs. As God’s steward, we recognise stewardship involves the responsibility of managing God’s work through the Church and proper accountability of all that which God, has entrusted to our use (1 Corinthians 4:1-2). We believe that as the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30) shows Christians will be held accountable for the way in which they manage God’s affair as stewards. These matters include:
1. Extending the Church’s ministry through the preaching of the Gospel – (Colossians 1:24)
2. Supporting the Church financially – (Act 4:32-37).
3. Ministering to the sick and needy – (Matthew 25:31-46)
4. Ministering to the Ministers of the Gospel as deem fit – (1 Corinthian 9:7-18)
5. Extending act of charity to mankind (community) – (James 1:27)
Hence, we have resolved to demand of our selves to render proper accounting of all finances, material (property) and Souls of men that are entrusted into our use through weekly, monthly and yearly accounting system in the the ministry and church installations. Such that everyone who deem fit to make an inquiring will be free without prejudice. Besides, an Internal and External Auditors shall be called in time to time to crosscheck and examine the management of every resource at least once a year. This provision of this Ministerial Church shall be closely adhered by every of our Church Installations respectively.
